To the Artists, Patrons, and Fans of Gallery 606:

Over the past two years Gallery 606 has been a focal point of arts in Ashland. Susannah Wagner Merritt has had a vision for a gallery that would support both established and emerging artists, be a venue for community events and community outreach, and provide yet another reason to call Ashland "The Center of the Universe". Susannah, Sue Peyron, and Susan Ferguson worked hard to invite artists who would bring a unique look to Gallery 606. The regular volunteers Gigi Brothers, Linda Hollett-Bazouzi and Angelique worked equally hard to keep the gallery open to the public, as well as Becket Franklin, Kathy Eby, Gayle Barber, Joni Veltema, Lucy Farley Coates, Nancy Murdock, Sharon Lalik, Jamie Phillips, John Bazouzi, Olya Elizabeth Kirwin, her husband Johnny Merritt, and many others.

Because of health issues Susannah has decided that it is necessary to close the gallery, to focus all her energy towards healing.

We look forward to the time when we will see "Gallery 606—Phoenix Risen", just as we hope to see the same with Susannah.

Thanks to all of you for your support and love in the past, and your love and good wishes in the future.
